Graham and Ted spent most of their summer fishing on Heron Lake targeting an ever growing head of good 20lb+ carp and cats to well over 50lb.
Graham this time took the first spoils by catching a selection of quality 20's on floating crust and then on his favourite nugget baits.
As the water warmed both anglers managed to land cats to well in excess of 30lbs. Graham and Ted have always been very thoughtful anglers and are always looking for new baiting methods, so it was no surprise to hear that they were using mackerel pieces tipped with a nugget on a hair to land the moggies.

(Right) March saw Graham and Ted helping to raise much needed funds for the Disabilities Trust, by entering in a charity carp competition on Mallard lake on the Wintons Fishery complex. They managed to come a very comenderble 4th overall after a tough 48 hours fishing. Ted landed this stunning 17lb Koi Carp (far right), casting tight to a reed bed on peg 1. On this occasion he used a large halibut pellet hair rigged to tempt the fish.
