Mike has managed to acheive success on his first visit to Mallard lake
on the Wintons Fishery complex by catching a cracking group of fish.

said, "I
started my fist 48 hours on mallard on monday the 18th april at around
2.30pm set up and all sorted by 5.30, I was in peg 3, at about 6.00
I had my first carp a 24.12 mirror then followed by a common of 23.2
later that night I had a cat of 12lb this was all in the first 24 hours.
In the following 24 hours I landed a common of 15,2 a mirror of 16.3
and a cat of 9lb and lost 3 big fish to hook holds so not a bad start
as i had'nt even seen the complex. I joined on advice from a mate".
