Kettle, a regular on both Captive Angler and Heron Lake on the Wintons
Fishery complex has landed a succession of large fish from the water
over the last few weeks. On his last visit he opted to use the warm
weather to his advantage and go crusting.
The
first fish he hooked was the large koi that weighs in at around 24lb,
however after a long battle on the old split cane rod the fish made
a bid for the snags and got free.
Not
to be put off Graham then took a stunning 23lb common a few hours later
using the same method. Nice one Graham.
