Extrema Fishing Spain

Thanks to the generousity of Graig of Extrema Fishing Spain two lucky anglers flew out for a few days fishing this month as a prize kindly donated to us by Graig for the DT CARP COMP back in April. The winning bidder David Crawford took along angling bubby Dave Holmes, and came back with some true angling stories.

This untapped river incorporating its lakes includes the Legendary Orellana, the Serena and Cijara, these lakes have been created by dams dating from the early 1960's and boasts some of the finest Carp, Barbel and Pike fishing in Spain. Using the vast experience of our local guides we offer you the chance to fish for Carp, Black Bass, Pike, Barbel and the awesome Comizo Barbel all reaching specimen size in this river system .

Graig can cater for anglers of all abilities, and for those unfamiliar with the demands of specimen fishing, tuition and tackle guidance is available on request.

Fishing was hard, but weather lovely on our fishing holiday to Extremadura in Spain ( the one I one at auction at the disabilities trust weekend at Wintons). Had about 40 small barbel on the first day, blanked on days 2 and 3 on the Orellana, pullled the fat out of the fire on last day with 15.5lb common (me) and an 18.5 and at the last minute a 35.75 lb monster common to Dave Holmes, my fishing buddy from Ditchling. Craig is going to send you pics Andy...pity you couldn't have been with us.
