Due to the high demand and despite having an extra 2,000 printed this year we are now completely out of the 2006 brochure. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Anyone ordering a brochure between now and the end of this year will go on file to receive the new 2007 brochure which we hope to have ready early in January. We plan to have an extra 3,000 of the new brochure printed which should get us through 2007 without running out.
All up to date information on the fishery can be obtained from our web-site.

Our annual Junior Pike match will take place on Sunday 25th of November on Manor Farm Lake. The Draw will be held at 08:30 with the match running from 09:30 until 15:00.
Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place's and there will be a number of well known pike anglers down on the day to help the youngsters out.
To fish this event you must be 16 years old or younger and will need to pre-book. Anyone wishing to take part can book by contacting Basil Hopkins on either (0777321059) or (01993 704880).

For a trial period we will be offering Winter Permits on Hardwick/Smiths Pool
The permit will run from November 1st 2006 until March 1st 2007.
The price will be £120 for this period and cheques should be made payable to Linear Fisheries Oxford.
Hardwick/Smiths Pool is regarded as one of Linear’s Big Carp waters and we do expect some big fish captures from there this winter. At this time of year there are at least 9 carp that will be over the 36/37lb mark, with two of these going 40lb's in the past and thats not taking into account all the other thirties in there.
Big roach and bream are present and bream to 13lb and roach to nearly 4lb have been caught in the past. The water is also regarded an excellent pike water and fish to over 30lbs have been recorded caught from there in past years.
Permits will be available on the bank or you can write sending your payment to:

Brendan Long from Essex has had 6 fish including mirrors of 29.08 and 30.00. Brendan was using Richworth Ultraplex boilies and stig rigs 40 yards out.

The gates at Oxlease Lake are NOW being locked between 5pm to 9am - PLEASE take notice of the signs as you go in and make sure you leave your car outside the gates if you wish to leave between the hours of 5pm and 9am. IF NOT YOU WILL BE LOCKED IN AND SPENDING THE NIGHT!!!!!!

Ray Brown had a new PB in the shape of a 33.00 "original" on particles over spod.
Dave Armitage from Barnsley had 13 fish upto 25.00 using Hutchy boilies over spodded pellets.

John Webb from North Glamorgan has had the "Big plated Mirror" at 40.10. This stunning fish fell to Premier Baits Matrix boilies and stick mix at 50 yards range. This was a new PB for John who will be sending photos over next week, as soon as i get them i'll put them up on the web.

Linear Bailiff Ivor Peachey had 10 fish including twenties of 23.12, 24.08, 25.00 and 26.07 on Edge Baits A-Pex over a spodded area of boiles, hemp and pellets at 90 yards range.
