The
weekend started slowly with only 1 fish being caught in the first 12
hours. That was a 25lb 2oz Mirror to Colin Maynard in peg 11 at 3am.
This fish was shortly followed by another 20lb Mirror shortly afterwards.
Colin
and Neil now had a commanding lead but were pegged back when Lee morley
in peg 15 landed a stunning Personal Best 23lb 10oz mirror using Poacher
Baits boilies close to an over hanging tree.
Colin
Maynards team partner Neil Young then stormed back into the lead by
a good margin with another 20lb carp, a common of a little over 20lb.
Not
to be out done Lee's team mate Chris Clarke put the forth 20 of the
day on the bank and recorded a PB with a common of 23lb 13oz caught
using 2 14mm Halibut pellets.

There
was now very little between the teams and personal battles were being
fought all over the lake.
Lawrence
Burns in peg 16 was the next to catch, landing a nice 18lb+ common to
put his team in the running.
